Now, here is part two!
35 movies to watch from 1990 to 2024 part 3/5 | Movie Marathon Idea
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟜 - The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004)

I remember watching this the first time when I was at the clinic. I was seven and I had chickenpox. Noah Wyle is like the first version or like ancestor of Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien in Teen Wolf). He's smart and with an amusing humor. Most treasure hunting movies I've watched has mature, smart leading men.
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟝 - Sharkboy and Lavagirl (2005)

Kind of really missed young Taylor Lautner lol.
The movie is really good--for me as a child at least. Growing up, I refuse to believe the effects and whatnot were pretty obvious. Either way, this movie was really entertaining. Sharkboy and Lavagirl escorting Max to some place to defeat Linus. And my favorite part is Taylor's lullaby song! My sister and I used to sing and dance with him, pressing the scan backwards button and the CD goes back every ten seconds.
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟞 - Rob-B-Hood (2006)

This is such a trip down memory lane, especially the time when Jackie Chan movies are fun to binge watch with my family on a weekend.
One of the elements I loved about this that isn't the usual Jackie gets paired with a comedian, another combatant or a rookie partner. Jackie needs to protect a baby (although, I don't remember the specific plot), I just know that it's a unique twist for our drunken master to deal with.
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟟 - I am Legend (2007)

The very reason why I am in love with MCs with a pet when it comes to video games. I cried so much with Sam's scene.
Dr. Neville (I forgot his character's full name) played by Will Smith and his trusted German Shepherd companion, Sam, have this Home Alone feel in this post-apocalyptic movie. Honestly, as a child, I had a pillow covering my sight just in case a jumpscare happens.
It's probably nice to re-watch this one every now and then, because it's really good if I want a thrilling story with a tear-jerking scene.
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟠 - Step Up 2: The Revolution (2008)

Time surely flies. One of my all-time favorite dance movie! I've lost count how many times I watched this and attempted to do the "Bounce" dance by myself.
The story centers Andie (Briana Evigan) who was forced to go to school because vandalizing subway stations with street dancers wasn't good for her future. Tyler (Channing Tatum) makes a special appearance (he stars part 1 of the franchise) and convinces Andie to attend school.
It was such a hit back then, even my school has been copying the movies' dance moves. Social media is full of clips and copycats. Legends never die!
𝟚𝟘𝟘𝟡 - Push (2009)

Back in the days, seeing Dakota Fanning in movies wasn't new to me. Whenever my mom would bring home new DVDs, there's Dakota Fanning in it.
These were also the days when movies were so unique, just like Wanted (2008) or Jumper (2008). Push is one of those movies that was nice to discover. Simple superpower movie with enough action and not overflowing with corny CGI. Speaking of this, I should probably re-watch it at some point.
𝟚𝟘𝟙𝟘 - The Book of Eli (2010)

Here we go. Another post-apocalyptic movie!
I watched this after I watched I am Legend. I think my aunt was on a streak to watch as many post-apocalyptic movies as she could back then.
It's a nice action-packed movie and well, Denzel Washington does not disappoint with his choice of movies.
