The most random reading compilation of July 2025
My reading mood is like an irregular period cycle. Sometimes I pick up a book from my TBR pile and binge read them in two days, then I pick another one afterwards. And another time, I pick up one book and finish it after six months or more. So this July, I compiled the books I’ve read.

His & Hers is a Dual POV between Detective Chief Inspector Jack Harper and BBC presenter Anna Andrews, an ex-couple whose marriage lost its spark as the years went by. They parted ways after a tragic incident (that I will specify later). When a woman was murdered in Blackdown (their hometown), their jobs reunited them, but the case brought them closer, as the murdered victim was someone they both knew.

The story starts off introducing Sam Porter, the detective who's been working on the Fourth Monkey Killer case. The plot quickly kicks off when Brian Nash calls Porter to tell him about a “bus hitting a civilian”. Just a normal day until we find out that the civilian could actually be the Fourth Monkey Killer that Porter has been trying to hunt down for years.
